This tool features forged aluminum pneumatic and hydraulic body sections. The pulling plunger is made from chrome-moly steel hardened to Rockwell C30. Thought manufactured in China, critical seals are sourced from Europe. This tool is suitable for owner-operators and small repair shops. This nose assembly installs 1/8 & 5/32 Magna-Lok blind rivets used to install side view mirrors and doing sleeper conversions. It is compatible only with RAT's RAT2318 tool and will not work with other Huck or Gage Bilt tools. This nose measures 2 long and is 1 in diameter.These import noses offer several quality features including tool steel anvils and Chromoly jaws hardened to Rockwell C60. The anvil has an enameled black finish.

This aggressively priced tool installs up to 1/2 inch rivet nuts using its advanced SPIN-PULL-SPIN setting sequence. The rivet nut quickly spins on when pressure is applied to the mandrill. Pull the trigger and the rivet nut is pulled and installed, release the trigger and the mandrill spins out of the rivet nut. The setting cycle is about 2 seconds. The RAT1606 Rivet Nut tool has a fully adjustable stroke for accurate insert placements, which requires less operator skill.
